Equitable Earth Welcomes New Technical Advisory Board (TAB)

Equitable Earth today announced its newest Technical Advisory Board (TAB) cohort, following the successful completion of the founding board's term.

The board brings together experts in carbon markets, remote sensing, nature-based finance, forest science, and social safeguards. As Equitable Earth continues to pioneer new tools and approaches that are strengthening the integrity of nature-based carbon markets, the board will provide independent expertise to help steer the organisation's next phase of scientific and technical leadership. Its members will build on the strong foundations established by the founding board, advising on emerging best practice as the standard expands its work supporting forest restoration and protection globally.

The members of Equitable Earth's new Technical Advisory Board are:

• Andrea Abrahams (Chair) — Senior Advisor at IETA & Independent Advisor
• Olly Griffin — Independent Consultant, formerly Regional Nature-based Solutions Advisor at Wildlife Conservation Society
• Luiza Maia de Castro — Doctoral Researcher & Independent Consultant, formerly Re.Green
• Ed Mitchard (PhD) — Chief Scientist & Co-founder at Space Intelligence
• Nan Pond (PhD) — Vice President, Nature-Based Solutions at Rubicon Carbon
